B&M 4D coaster?

Two people have suggested it, one referencing a YouTube comment the other made.

Nobody else.

"you all"?

Hardly.

I joked about it, but really, why would B&M jump into the 4D coaster concept now, with S&S only just reviving Arrow's design? Besides, does the track in the field next to Breakers Express look like it would work with a 4D train?

You're assuming that the cost of a prototype would be less instead of higher than that of a developed model..

Well, yeah. Prototypes are almost always cheaper, which is why parks invest in them. Take The Bat at Kings Island, for example. It had a relatively cheap trice tag, then Arrow built Vortex for free to make up for it. Then there's Magnum, which was $8 million, which, today would be about $15 million. That's relatively cheap considering that the 200 foot boundary was thought impossible to reach before it. Then, Mille, a prototype Giga coaster cost $25 million (27 million today) while Leviathan cost $28 million and Fury 325 cost about $35-40 million. So, going by the facts, that sounds about right.

So what you all are saying instead of it being a dive coaster it's actually a 4-D coaster that has a similar track style and dual friction wheels to a dive machine?

I never said it would have 2 sets of rails. In the YouTube post, I said it would have motors in the center of the wing seats to rotate them. Another possibility could be a free spinning one as well now that I think about it.

How in the world are people doubting the dive coaster STILL!?

1999: First visit
Halloweekends- Harvest Fear, Tombstone Terror-Tory
Ride Operations- Professor Delbert’s Frontier Fling

They're bored cause the leak ruined their speculation, and they're mad cause they think the dive coaster will be boring and isn't original and to them, dangit Cedar Point is special and needs the newest, greatest thing ever. Nothing is ever good enough.

and the fact that the track has a dive machine model number on its label...

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

^It's sad, really.
B&M has gone so far as to send the track out to Cedar Point, but yet hasn't realized that they put the wrong labels on the track. You'd think they'd know better.

It's almost as bad as last year when they announced an orange and green coaster then I show up to the park a few days later and see that there's track already there that's purple, yellow, and red! B&M needs to step their game up!
