What was Jeff's comment that implied water ride?

I dunno that there is such a comment. In an earlier post, Jeff stated that he had read a correct guess on another forum site, and that whatever we're getting will make all of us happy.

Considering the unpopular demise of WWL, perhaps one of the things that will occupy the site will be a modern flume (or some other type of water ride). Seeing as how there was a considerable show of remorse over WWL leaving us, that could mean Jeff thinks a water ride would make us all happy, which may or may not be true.

Take from that what you will.

CP can wait on the B&M. MiA needs one more than we at CP ever will.

I for one don't think it will be a water coaster. Why would they put alot of cash into one when it would essentially be un-ridable for a couple of months? Can you imagine riding it in early May or late September or October? I don't think so!

I know you would get some riders. (those idiots you see soaking wet when it's 50 degrees outside), but for the majority, ridership would be low until it would become consistantly warm.

Do you really think CP would spend massive amounts of money on ride that would not be able to run at maximum capacity all season long?

It all depends on the water coaster's design. They could easily make it a low-soak water coaster, similar to WWL - where you'll get wet, but not soaked. And, if there is a water attraction coming, I'd be willing to bet that CP would want something that doesn't soak riders, since the only water rides left back there do.

Even if Snake River Falls isn't sponsored anymore, we still have the Skyride presented by the Ohio Lottery.

I think the WWL site could easily see a B&M dive coaster like SheiKra at Busch Gardens. There was alot of hype surrounding this coaster in '04. CP must have begun earliest preparations for the '07 ride around that time. Maybe thay liked what they saw being planned in Tampa. It would retain a water feature that people associate with the site but need not soak riders. Some of the needed infrastructure for a water feature is already in place, right? It could easily be a record breaker without coming close to the height of MF. It would certainly be an unconventional coaster type befitting a name like "Maverick" maybe?

Highly doubtful. Considering the ride was older than a lot of the people posting here (;)), I'm sure that the WWL water infrastructure was pretty outdated. Also, considering the excavation that's apparently gone on there since WWL's demise, the likelihood of anything remaining underground is even lower.
