Blacklisted?

So my friend worked at CP, 2 summers ago, and he left before his contracted date. I forgot the exact details, but I do know he didn't just leave without notice. We both filled out apps at the same time but he has yet to hear anything back unlike myself. We also applied for the same thing. So I was just wondering if its possible he could have been blacklisted or something, and if there are any ideas or suggestions

If he were blacklisted, he wouldn't have been able to even apply.

If he were "blacklisted" he would not have been able to apply at all. The website will kick back a message that says something like, "Due to your past employed you are not eligible for rehire at this time." If he was able to fill out the application then he is fine.

Chances are most departments are either filled or getting real close. But people will start arriving soon (some already have) and when that happens I am sure a lot of people don't show up, so by opening day most departments are running light, and start hiring again.

He may not have been blacklisted but HR is flagging applications which means supervisors cant even read them or look at them. Or you could be a conditiomal rehire. I would know!! If u know ur supervisor u worked for and are "in" with them then call them directly and let them know u filled out an app and really want to work there. They can then search for u and viola... Hired!
