With all the transportation talk, I was wondering how close all the stores are to the housing? Could I ride my bike there within 30 minutes?
form the shopping areas on rt.250 to the road on rt.6 that goes to the point is about 3 miles.

It's quite a hike, even on a bike, to the mall or movie theatre. I'd highly suggest another mode of transportation.
I'm too sexy for my harness!
It's not really that much distance wise on a bike, the traffic however can get you as you have lots of people heading in the same general direction and unfortunately they aren't really looking out for you. I can't recall if there is bike lanes or not. You maybe able to map out a different trail that avoids the mainline traffic. (google maps works wonders...)
remember: no matter where you go... there you are.
probably wouldn't be bad if you went the "back way" although im not sure of what those streets are all called...it's more neighborhood...going straight down 250 would probably be a terrible idea!

Bike directions from the dorms to Sandusky Mall. Meijer is just a little ways past the mall, Walmart is quite a bit further. Rt. 250 is heavy traffic and probably dangerous on a bike, but you could stick to parking lots pretty much the whole way, especially if you take Perkins a little further and come up Strub towards 250.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
