For my money, the best has to be Blue Streak. You can see all of the park and the city of Sandusky. The worst IMO is CCMR. You can only see Frontiertown and Camp Snoopy.
Millie and Raptor!
2013: Maverick, Mine Ride, Skyhawk, Snake River Falls
2014: Team Leader of Snake River Falls
My favorite is Magnum, especially early in the morning when the sun is rising or when the sun is setting and on your left you can see the the sun setting but on the right you can see the beautiful purple sky.
Worst? Wicked Twister because there is none! Even Dragster has a slight incline (although not that tall of a lift) But if we are talking about chain lifts, Corkscrew.
Leave the hypercoaster alone
Magnum's is my favorite, I love how its separated from the park and along the beach. Worst is by far Corkscrew.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
I think that Magnum is my favorite because its nice and slow and you can take your time to look at everything. My least favorite is definitely Corkscrew
Man hall are hating on corkscrew haha..now it actually isn't that bad. Ride wise right side riders get a good view into the park, left side is a bummer oh well. Now turning around and getting to look st the rest of the park during a lift walk its actually a good view. Front isn't terribly bad but the back view is much better. Hopefully the link below all this works, if not I'll try and find another way. Ride wise maggie is still the best. Full moon, no clouds at night, right hand seat...perfect lake view

^^Now I want a coaser that replaces Corkscrew and has its lift hill going in the direction of the picture. That's an awesome view!

See corkscrew is good for something...jerks haha...may be the underdog...but it feels damn good to be a pedal popping ancient arrow

Ah.
Some of us are old enough to remember 2 hour waits that stretched into the midway to ride the first coaster in the world to turn you upside-down 3 times. ;)
Promoter of fog.
But I do remember, as a teen, the looong line for Magnum opening year. Lighting cigarettes to keep the bugs away.
I remember that Kevin. It was the coolest ride in the world at that time.
Cedar Point guest since 1974
Does it have to be a coaster?
I actually find the Shoot the Rapids lift hill provides quite a nice view--midway to the right; dinosaurs and lagoon below; Magnum, the Lake, and Lighthouse Point/Sandcastle to the front; and--close to sunset--a gorgeous view of Mean Streak and the Bay off to the left.
(I'm prepared to be booted off the board for actually kind of enjoying this ride.)
Best Lift Hill View I would have to say Magnum. I love watching people on SkyScraper and looking ahead at Soak City. There's just so much to see while riding Magnum.
Worst Lift Hill View I would have to say is a tie between Maverick and Corkscrew. The backside of the Chick Fil A building is not very eye catching and the piece of land where they store Thunder Canyon boats isn't all that great either. However, the maintenance building, Golds dorms, and the back side of SkyRide West isn't my idea of a picturesque view.
Mean Streak has a beautiful view of the entire park and the islands across Lake Erie.

2012- TL of Planet Snoopy
2013-TL of Blue Streak
2014-Supervisor of Raptor
The worst, is by far, Cedar Creek Mine Ride.

Remember when Ocean Motion used to be by the lake? That was a good view. :)
