Best touring plan to ride the Big 3?

I'm headed to CP this Friday with a friend who has never been to CP. I'd like to get her on all the big 3 rides..preferably with minimum lineups.

She will have a reg ticket so no early entry. We will get to the gates by 9:30am to be at the rope.

Right now, my plan is to get to TTD at rope drop and then over to Maverick where we hope the lineups will still be somewhat manageable. Then, on to Millenium Force (which could well have pretty big lineups by thispoint).

Is it worth it to do the top 3 in a row in the morning? Or are lineups pretty much just bad all day anyway and we can leave one or two of them for later in the day?

I'm not worried about any of the other rides. My only worry with those are to minimize walking.

This seems like a pretty good plan. Park in the Soak City lot and use the resort gate. You'll enter the park at the base of Dragster's tower, so you'll be there much faster than front gate runners.

Your plan would work fine. But in my opinion, I would go on Millenium, Maverick and then Dragster. Maybe I just get very lucky, but when I go to CP without early entry and when I go on Millenium Force first, it is no longer than 1 hour and ΒΌ minute wait. If I wait to go on it later in the day, the line will get up to about 2 hours. Also when I go, on average, the wait for Dragster is only about an hour and twenty minutes even in the early afternoon when the park is really buzzing.

Personally I've always found Millennium's wait to be the shortest in the evening, either around dinner time (5-6) or in the last hour or two of the day. Although it has been a long time since I've really focused on riding things on busier days, so that may not be entirely accurate anymore.

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I will be going to Cedar Point for the first time in about 7 years. I was wondering if you guys could give me a heads up on what to expect for wait times.

Since this week's temps have been in 90s everyday, some of the rides were suffering from what seemed to be heat related issues. Yesterday Millennium was running two trains for most of the day and then went down to only one in the afternoon. It looked to be a problem with the wheels burning up. Also it seems that Top Thrill is running only four trains today. Since one of the normal 5 is having problems and the extra train can't replaces it since it's stripped of its headrests for some reason.

From my experience in the times I have gone this year in the summer, the More popular rides seem to have a 45 minute to a one hour wait at the minimum.

Top thrill dragster, millenium force, and maverick seem to have the longest wait times. Oh and raptor when the park first opens.
