Well, it's technically a 16 Oz glass (14-15 Oz plus the head), but some of them are 14 Oz due to the thicker base (which yields about 12-13 Oz of beer plus the head). Generally, a British (imperial) pint glass is 20 Oz, but with the head, you're getting 17-18.
I guess they could be using Murphy's Irish Red, but that's a limited brew as far as I know.
I'm not much of a UK/UK style beer drinker, as I prefer my American style IPAs and Russian Imperial Stouts, but it doesn't mean I don't know my stuff.
(Don't think I'm being rude, either - just having conversation, etc...)
edit: You edited and got there before I did - I bet that's pretty good, but I'd call it a black and red ;-)
Tis a limited brew, there's a local place I go to that has it on tap interestingly enough. One of my best friends is a bartender there, she recommended it one day and I enjoyed it.
First I thought Murphys Stout, as I normally had that, but remembered it's the red ale, it's been a bit since I had one. I'm normally a DIPA person. I stocked up on Chillwave from Great Lakes, absolutely great drink, love everything about it, too bad it's only an early seasonal brew.
I need to go have a drink soon, was going to have a Fat Tire in Chickies Friday, but they were out, sad day. Then work weekend/currently..bah..Then hell day of PT after I get off duty..maybe after todays hellish workout :D

I love my DIPAs. Interestingly enough, Chillwave is a re-name of Alchemy Hour from last year. I guess there were some issues with that name, so they had to rename it.
I was listening to the radio the other day on the local show, and they had a couple of guys from Great Lakes on, talking about different beers, and I guess they are working on a 3% ABV IPA that should be out sometime soon. I'm interested to see how that comes out, because basically it'll bridge the gap between light beer and good beer.
There is actually a enthusiastic group of Lake Erie surfers who take advantage of the 4-5 foot waves we do frequently get.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I have a Top Thrill Dragster Polo shirt that I bought online years ago. It doesnt fit anymore and they dont sell any cool polo shirts anymore
Mine is probably a stuffed purple bear that the guessing game (I'm guessing) I was about 5 or 6 years old and my family was with others with older kids that kept going on rides and I had to wait for each one with somebody and some stranger saw me sad waiting and gave it to me after he won it. It was my first Cedar Point Souvenir. Later that day I rode Iron Dragon for the first time and it quickly became my favorite ride and like all kids do I named the stuffed animal Purple Dragon (even though it was a bear).
