Something I received in the front seat of my car in the parking lot when no one was around years ago? :)
LMAO!!!!
I always had the same thing..Almost played bowling with my car with them. So many times a nice clean car enters the point but does not leave the same way. This time was not an exception either..

I will soon have to utilize the highball glasses that the park offered on Friday, thinking of pouring in a nice true Black & Tan with Guiness & Murpy's :)
You realize those are both stouts, right?
And it's an America pint glass, not a highball. :)
Just sayin'
Nope, Murphys Irish Red & Guiness..not Murphys Stout
Didn't know it held a full pint I literally haven't opened my box since I got it at lunch, came back Saturday and headed back to work since park was a no go

Well, it's technically a 16 Oz glass (14-15 Oz plus the head), but some of them are 14 Oz due to the thicker base (which yields about 12-13 Oz of beer plus the head). Generally, a British (imperial) pint glass is 20 Oz, but with the head, you're getting 17-18.
I guess they could be using Murphy's Irish Red, but that's a limited brew as far as I know.
I'm not much of a UK/UK style beer drinker, as I prefer my American style IPAs and Russian Imperial Stouts, but it doesn't mean I don't know my stuff.
(Don't think I'm being rude, either - just having conversation, etc...)
edit: You edited and got there before I did - I bet that's pretty good, but I'd call it a black and red ;-)
Tis a limited brew, there's a local place I go to that has it on tap interestingly enough. One of my best friends is a bartender there, she recommended it one day and I enjoyed it.
First I thought Murphys Stout, as I normally had that, but remembered it's the red ale, it's been a bit since I had one. I'm normally a DIPA person. I stocked up on Chillwave from Great Lakes, absolutely great drink, love everything about it, too bad it's only an early seasonal brew.
I need to go have a drink soon, was going to have a Fat Tire in Chickies Friday, but they were out, sad day. Then work weekend/currently..bah..Then hell day of PT after I get off duty..maybe after todays hellish workout :D

I love my DIPAs. Interestingly enough, Chillwave is a re-name of Alchemy Hour from last year. I guess there were some issues with that name, so they had to rename it.
I was listening to the radio the other day on the local show, and they had a couple of guys from Great Lakes on, talking about different beers, and I guess they are working on a 3% ABV IPA that should be out sometime soon. I'm interested to see how that comes out, because basically it'll bridge the gap between light beer and good beer.
Yeah someone claimed copyright/trademark over the name..
The new name is weird, it gives homeage to surfers out on Lake Erie in Feb/March or whatever...
Who the hell surfs in Feb on Lake Erie??!!

Who the hell surfs on Lake Erie anyway? The waves are tiny.
Now, a wave runner or a boat is another story.
There is actually a enthusiastic group of Lake Erie surfers who take advantage of the 4-5 foot waves we do frequently get.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
I really cherished the $20.00 bill I found blowing around near Mine Ride a couple years ago. It helped pay for 1/8 tank of gas for our trip to CP.
I will go for another "awwww" moment...the look of sheer terror on my 8 year old step son's face waiting for the launch on TTD, followed by a huge smile and him saying "We gotta do that one again!" when it was over. As a parent those moments are priceless!

I have a Top Thrill Dragster Polo shirt that I bought online years ago. It doesnt fit anymore and they dont sell any cool polo shirts anymore
Mine is probably a stuffed purple bear that the guessing game (I'm guessing) I was about 5 or 6 years old and my family was with others with older kids that kept going on rides and I had to wait for each one with somebody and some stranger saw me sad waiting and gave it to me after he won it. It was my first Cedar Point Souvenir. Later that day I rode Iron Dragon for the first time and it quickly became my favorite ride and like all kids do I named the stuffed animal Purple Dragon (even though it was a bear).
