If i wanna sit in the front i always go for the first car second row. Since the seats in the second row are a little higher than the front row you sorta get the front row feeling/forces without having to wait in the long front row line.
First car, first row, left side. Good view of the water and I think the sustained speed that you really get to feel with the wind in your face is superior to the airtime you receive in the back. Usually, I am all for the back of the train on most coasters but this is an exception! I have not noticed any bugs on the ride either.
