New Cedar Point employee for the 2015 season and was just curious about what employee housing is most preferred? My other question is how much housing will be available when I process in, in early May?
If you scroll back through the pages of the Employee Lounge, you can find plenty of opinions on housing. As for availability when you process in, from what I've read, you'll most likely be able to get a spot anywhere except Bayside.

Commons dorms, I think, are the best. Yes, the rooms are the size of a closet, however, you will only have 2-3 other roommates. Also, it has AC. Trust me, you will definitely want AC on a hot 103 degree day in July/August.
Try not to over-pack - the rooms are small. Also, get to know your roommates to see who is bring what. It would suck to have 3 TVs, 2 microwaves, but no fridge.
If you have to choose your housing the day you get there, how will you know who your roommates are beforehand?
