Best Day for light crowds immediately following July 4th

I normally take the family to CP when I visit my Mom in Vermilion during the summer. Usually go midweek to avoid crowds. However, gonna be up this year for the fourth and will be staying until the following Monday or so.

Was wondering if anyone had any insight or theories about which day might be best to go for lighter crowds. I would be looking at anytime between Thursday the 5th and Monday the 9th. I assume the day after would be crowded and Friday and Saturday likely also. Would Sunday or Monday be a good day to go as possible travel back day for peeps?
