Bed bugs?

I have been looking around this forum and I have seen that the dorms have had bed bug problems. I do realize that when living with large groups of people they are a problem but what are the chances of a rather clean person getting them while at Cedar Point AND what are the chances of them accidentally transporting them home? I am just a little paranoid about bringing them home with me.

the dorms got new mattresses this year which could help the problem. The best thing you can do is to get a mattress protector cover for your bed and for pillows. They sell them at target and walmart. Tell your roommates to get them too. If you're worried about taking them home i would reccommend getting different bed blankets,sheets,pillows for CP instead of bringing blankets you plan on taking back home with you...

Get a mattress cover and keep your room clean, especially if your in Commons 1500s. I heard they got hit the worst with bed bugs.

I lived in 1500s, 1300s and the commons apartments and didn't have any problems with bed bugs. If you stay clean, keep your room clean, take out your trash etc. then you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah I lived in the 1500's last year and commons apartments the year before that and never got bed bugs. I got ants once in the apartments but thats about it.

just keep your room clean. simple.

Buy mattress protector things. I know someone personally that was effected by bed bugs.

My friend lives in Common dorms and had a problem with bed bugs. If you buy mattress protectors you should be okay, but be sure to check the mattress really good before you put your sheets on. If they get in contact with your bedding and clothes it's a pain to get rid of.
