I have a hard time feeling sorry for self-important people with thin skins who get offended by the least little thing and then whine about it. As Don Henley said "The big bad world doesn't owe you a thing. Get over it"

Anyone who gets "reprimanded", is asked to do some of their own research first, or receives what they consider a sarcastic reply and gets seriously offended needs to toughen up a bit. The world is full of rude, smart-a$$ed and offensive people (believe me, I have to deal with them every single day in my job).

LOL Dont flatter yourself....other then the comment of posts getting deleted (cause we know what people can delete them) and the fact that I wasnt just refering to my posts, I noticed several post disapearing for reasons I dont understand, but Im sure you have your reasons. (However selfish them reasons may be) Anyhow, I never said what side I was on as far as the argument of this topic or any other disagreement. I clearly just made a comment that the same fights seem to keep comming back and the lack of respect people have towards other people on this site. I didnt say who was right or who was in the wrong, although Jeff by your last post, you sort of just fell into the disrespect catagory. (Like ya care right? Your the big Guide to the Point owner that gives ya the right to be rude, correct?)

And to your post OldCper, so do you mean for those that may have thin skin like the newbies..they should toughen up a bit and lash back? Also Cper, if you have to deal with them on a daily basis, why would you want to deal with it on here then or be one of them rude people you hate dealing with?

I think some wouldnt get so easily offended if things were said to them with a lil bit of tact and respect. (But you would need to actually care about what some people on here say to get offended, in which case I dont) To those who get offended easily..try and see past the rudeness and get to exactly what they are trying to point out, try doing some research to see if a topic has been discussed (although if your like me you dont have a half hour to research cause you have somewhat of a busy life) Do your best to make sure the topic hasnt been talked about. As far as questions about what the park will be like on a certain day, by now I'm sure you realize no one can predict them things, ( other then saying usually holidays are busier then most regular days etc..) think before you type. Then hopefully some on here will think before they become rude. (CLICK!!)

Actually, tohot, you said exactly what I was getting at. People have to learn to see past what they CONSIDER rudeness and see what the "rude" person is trying to point out to them. I'm not saying they should lash back, but if someone tells you to try something else first, or points out the question is senseless, why get upset and whine about it?

I agree there are people on GTTP who can be very sarcastic, and what some people might consider rude. But I find GTTP and Coasterbuzz to have far fewer "rude" people than other coaster forums. *cough* coasterforum.com *cough*

This forum is strictly moderated which cuts down on the superfluous crap. Arguments are not allowed to get pointless, nasty, or out of hand. I LIKE that. I don't have to be subjected to flame wars. THAT'S why I come here. I have received some sarcastic remarks, but I have never felt I've been treated "rudely".
