Bayside or Commons?

I'm stuck on my decision of where to live. I noticed a thread about this before but it wasn't too much of a help.
Which is everyone's favorite place?

I think my decision is between Bayside or Commons Apts. I'm leaning toward Commons but I'm not sure about so many roommates.

Any comments (or cool roommates) would be much appreciated.

(I was also planning to bring my computer and I was wondering if diall-up was the only way I could get internet there. college life has spoiled me)

Well, I think your decision will be easy. Bayside has been full for about two weeks now. So chances are you will be in Commons. I live there too and it is not too bad. The dorms are better than the apartments in my opinion.

Dial up is really the only way to get out if you have your own computer.

Holy crap! I didn't expect it to fill up thst quick. Well now I don't know about Commons Dorms or Apts.

I was told by another employee who is already there that commons dorms are also filling up quickly. I was a little concerned because that's where I want to stay but she told me not to worry because when I get there (may 26) a lot of people will have already been fired. ;)

As far as commons dorms go for guys...

1500 is full, 1400 from what i hear has 2 of the 3 floors full. HOWEVER, on-point housing has not opened yet, and this will cause some more rooms to open then. I just hope i can get a room on May 19

Don't forget - people come and go. Lots of people will probably quit within two weeks. :)

Maybe my decision will be made before I even get there
Cedars/Gold is supposed to open on May 17th, when that happens I am sure some people in commons or bayside will head on point.

I'll be there on the 9th.
When those open and people switch do you suppose I would be able to get into a newly open spot?

Why haven't the dorms on the point opened yet?

They usually don't open till later.. No real need too open before then.. That and no heat tends to make you want to wait to move into them wouldn't you think??

I understand now... Thanks Rob.

Eric, the only ISPs that I can think of off the top of my head are Aol and MSN. I think I'm gonna bring a computer too

Yeah Justin.. I was probably going to end up using one of the crappy free ISPs.
At first I was like, "Hey, I can use the ISP that colleges (including central) hook us up with for free"
Then I realized that it was MICHnet and that there aren't really any numbers outside Michigan

I figure I won't be on the internet very often what with one phone line for a bunch of people

Well guys, I'm off to CP!
Later!
Most free ISP's don't even have any local access numbers for Sandusky. You are better off sticking with AOL or MSN
