That has been summed up pretty well, the only thing I have to add is that some rides open an hour earlier for hotel guests and platinum pass holders. Those rides (to the best of my memory) are
-Raptor
-Iron Dragon
-Power Tower (...? I should know this, I worked on it for a bit)
-Top Thrill Dragster
-Maverick
-Millennium Force
And if you work at rides like Matterhorn Triangle (Matterhorn, Dodgem and scrambler) and Planet Snoopy and such ride hosts switch operating different rides throughout the day. But I am unfamiliar with how the shifts work on those rides.

It's just like rotating on a coaster...we have the same shifts (06 130c 0c etc) and depending on who's in charge you might rotate around breaks or every half hour, or whenever...

Different breaks for different shifts....so on a 10am-10pm day:
O-C: 45,30,15
O-8: 45,30
O-6: 45,15
11:30-8: 45,15
11:30-C: 45,30
1:30-C: 45,15
SPL (O-1:30,5-C): 15,15
Do you mean that if you work O-C you first break will be 45 minutes, then your 2nd break will be 30, and your 3rd will be 15? AKA you get 3 breaks in a day per work shift if you do O-C?

it depends on the order of the break sheet and when they need to send you. you can also lump the breaks together to be two 45-minute breaks

Early rides are actually Midway Carousel, Raptor, Planet Snoopy, Iron Dragon, Millennium Force, and Maverick. Top Thrill Dragster is sometimes (very rare) added if they know one of those will be down the next morning, but it hasn't been on the early ride list since about 2006.
Keep in mind that some rides open an hour later for various reasons (Disaster Transport, Turnpike Cars, Paddlewheel Excursions, Cedar Creek Mine Ride, Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon). Those are the ones i know of for sure as of last season.
Also for breaks usually the first day or so you will follow the correct order of breaks until you figure out how you would rather take them. You must at some point take a 45 minute break since that must be signed and taken out of your pay. The correct order for an O-C is 45, 30, then 15.

Good thread as I'm about to start my first year.
Anyone with top thrill dragster knowledge know how many hours I should expect to work a week?
How many O-C?
Expect a lot of O-C's the first 2 weeks and late august. This is where you should get a few more hours than some other rides because you will end up being at the ride a little later every night. During the summer though it's all about the same no matter what ride because we all have a lot of shifts, and you rarely O-C from mid-June through mid-August. As far as the exact amount of hours it's too hard to tell.
