Bbring your bookbag, it will be your best friend. Bring your blue suit, rain suit, water bottle, and lunch(if you aren't eating in cafe or stockade). If it's raining, I always bring extra shoes and socks so I have dry feet. Have fun this season!

lmao that is soo funny because my friend in death valley just called me and told me how she tried bringing a backpack to work (at the restaurant) and her boss told her it had to be clear.. I thought she was insane! I guess it's not just her.

I know that when I worked in foods 2 seasons ago, we were only allowed a clear bag or purse. Which I thought stunk because if you wanted to bring your rain suit or the windbreaker pants and jacket, you either had to wear them or carry them with you with. Or carry one of those dorky looking clear plastic bags

You will have to have your rainsuit with you. Also no matter what the weather has been it's always good to have purchased a CP sweatshirt and have it in your bag. Often in the evening it can cool down unexpectedly and sometimes your blue suit would be to warm and a sweatshirt is just right even with shorts on.
Doing what you need to do to be comfortable during your many long shifts outside in elements makes all the difference in the world.
Here's what I would have each day in my backpack:
Dry socks. Rain suit. Blue suit. Sweatshirt. Sunscreen. Advil. Chapstick. Water bottle.
As far as tans go, I STILL have a noticeable difference with my legs from the Ride Op uniform. But to be fair, I did use the tanning lotion. lol.
Water Bottle, Blue Suit, Socks, Sunglasses are probably the most needed things

It depends on where you're working. Most rides have somewhere at the ride (under the station, in an office or maintenance shed, etc) where the crew can stash bags. Sweeps I think can keep them in bins or lockers in nearby break areas. Games, merchandise and I think foods are a little different due to money handling. As for accessibility, that also varies based on location. At the least, you'll be able to get to it on your break.
For Merchandise you have to have a clear bag if you are going to bring it on location otherwise there are lockers up near the time clock.

i worked in wagons. i bought a clear bookbag especially because they told me my bag was to be clear and then they told me i couldnt use it because it was too big. so it wasnt worth even taking a bag and i had to carry all my stuff. and yes the bag is only accessible on break for wagon workers. i found chapstick was also an essential btw.

At my ride location we kept our backpacks all together in a dock box in an employees only area at the back of the ride, although other ride locations have individual lockers that you can bring a padlock for. I used mine for snacks, advil, extra socks, rain gear and, of course, my cell phone--working in rides you are not allowed to wear your cell phone on your person during your shift, so it'll have to stay in your backpack except on your breaks.
