Background check?

How do I know if my background check came back??? It's been over a week and I haven't heard anything. I am scheduled to process in on Monday. If I don't hear anything, do I just go out there? I don't want to drive out there to find out I wasn't cleared or something.

I 'think' state of Ohio background checks can take upwards of seven days or more. I have to get one every year for work and if I recall correctly- last August's took a week or so.

I just did another one at a job interview this past Wednesday however...and the management staff said that once they FAXed it, then it should only be 2-3 days.

I don't know if the speed and efficiency or actual processing has changed since August, but I would call Human resources directly. Best of luck!!!
