I have just finished my application to work at CP for this summer and I put being a lifeguard as my number one job choice. I just have a few minor questions. What would be the chances of me getting the job if I am quite a well rounded individual? I am physically fit(7 year wrestler), intelligent, social, very comfortable in water, and love to swim? I also seen a couple threads on the internet that say CP is usually always hiring for lifeguards. Are my chances of getting the job lower if I have to leave at the end of August for college? If they were to contact me, how long would it be until they would? And since lifeguards are shirtless half the time, I have a tattoo of a yin-yang in the center of my back, between the shoulder blades, and I was wondering if they could deny me the job just because of the tat? I mean it's not offensive in anyway. Some answers would really help. I'm really psyched to be a lifeguard, especially instead of working at a factory all summer.... haha thank you for your time!

umm tattoos are tricky, but you can just wear your shirt, or put bandaids on it if you want to take your shirt off. But to be honest you will have your shirt on a lot more than, not. Yea its actually a pretty fun job and easy and points but others disagree. They hire a lot and lot of lifeguards so its a good possibility and Id give it a week to a couple weeks.

Ah okay thanks! I remember I went into Soak City once and close to all the lifeguards had their shirts on. With a shirt on, my tattoo is completely covered so I think I'll be fine. Also I checked the box on my app that says I would accept any job offer. Will this affect me in anyway? I really should have put that I AM NOT WORKING IN FOODS hahaha

you can buy tattoo makeup to put on top of it! i just got the job today and when i was interviewed he asked if i had any and when i told him "not yet" he said its probably a good idea to steer clear of them for the time being because they have to be covered at all times. i think it would be easier to get the tattoo makeup if you already have one because having a huge bandage on you back might look weird?
just saying you can figure out what ya want to do, but your gonna want to take your shirt of, at some point, even to get it wet to put it back on. being in direct sunlight for 10 hours is gonna make you want to stay cool.
