Wow... I remember all of those except the Gemini spot, which may have been before my time.

Wow, I remember those old Gemini commercials, I was about 8 years old at the time. Brings back memories :)

I don't remember the Gemini spots either, but I do remember the Demon Drop one. I especially remember the "Summer is going fast..." commercial. I actually found this video a couple of weeks ago when I was looking for others. A couple of the other ones I found:

1986 Thunder Canyon Commercial:

1990 Disaster Transport Commercial:

What I was really looking for though was a White Water Landing commercial I remember as well as the "Summertime Blues" ad. No luck on YouTube or anywhere else yet.

Great memories.

I also remember (although I dont see it anywhere) WWL's commercial...sort of a cartoonish montage of a log ride.

You know, I would like to see them put those lights on Gemini (with fog) during Halloweekends...now that would be sweet!

And, of course, Tony and Tyler walking around the park in black robes mumbling, "DemondropDemondropDemondropDemondrop...:

Promoter of fog.

The lights and fog on Gemini would be amazing for Halloweekends. All those old commercials are lots of fun to watch.

The commercial that I can remember most was the Cedar Point jingle. It went something like this... "Get to the point ohhh ohhh yea ohh ohh get to the point" I can never find that one. I believe it was from the late 80's

Take you up really really high and then drop you at speeds that are really really fast.

Haha that is great!..the Gemini one was the best

Good times even though I wasnt born yet. :)

Let's Get Weird.

Does anybody have the link to the Magnum XL 200 commercial? I think I remember that one, even though I had to be like 5 years old at the time. I rode it a few years later so I had to be 8 when I first rode Magnum.

agreed. It's a great idea. They could put fog machines by many of the rides to make them more scary for Halloweekends.
