Avatar Wont Work!

I've had this problem for some time now, so I eventually gave up and settled for my red X. I have resized a few avatars with several different photo programs and they still are not accepted. I'm not losing sleep over it, but I cannot get any avatar to accept.

Still need help with my avatar!

If the specs are correct, it will upload. Don't animate it either.

Avatar Size = 1.50 KB (1,536 bytes)

Avatar Dimensions: Width = 38 pixels; Height = 38 pixels

Non-Animated

Still will not upload. I'm assuming there is something wrong with the pic itself, though I cannot determine what that might be.

I've given up, but thanks for the help anyway.

EDIT - I even tried shrinking it down to 5x5, 818 bytes, and it STILL won't upload...

Save someone else's avatar, one that's already on the site, and see if you can't upload that one.
