Authorizing Background Check

I tried to authorize it but it says that I don't need to because i am not 18. But i was also told i had to do it before i process in. Is there a special way to authorize it? I process in on my 18th birthday.

ummm, i think they closed at 4 but i am not 100% sure. i would try calling anyways.

Just giving anyone a heads up that might be in this situation i called human resources and if you applied when you were 17 you do not have to authorize a background check even if you start work when you are 18.

i was in the same situation, i processed in the day after my 18th birthday. i'm not sure if they still do the background check but i was able to process in with no problem.
