The 5th had its ups and downs, but it was a pretty good day.
Left with my Cousin around 8:30 and got to the point at 9:20ish. We headed straight for Millennium Force as the first ride of the day. Now I kinda regret going, but it was kinda cool.
We waited in the actual queue for about 45 mins. I said, "Hey, lets wait for the back. Its a really great ride" since he had never rode in the back. There was one person infront of us so we had to wait 1 train to get on. So the blue train dispatches, and the red train starts to roll in with (who I am assuming was) Tony and a few of his friends ready for the 1000th ride. Train gets halfway in the station, and then it just stops. I thought, "Wow, we're lucky. If we would have just gone for a middle seat we would be on the lift right now." So we waited... and waited, and did a little more. Talked to a ride op (don't know her name, but she was really friendly),and learned a few things about breakdowns. After about a hour and a half of waiting, they manually sent the blue train over the hill and did a few test runs. We got on the blue train, and had a great ride.
After that, we headed over to Raptor to see how long the wait was. 1 hour and 45 minutes. No way. This day was the most crowded day I had been to at the point so far this year. Raptor was almost walk ons any other time.
So we walked over to maXair and we waited in line for about 45 mins. Got seat 11 and had another great ride. After that we went over to Wicked Twister. We waited about 30 mins for a ride and got very back seat. And I even saw where they had the light curtains were at (posted a question about it in the WT forum).
After that we headed over by chaos and got some food. After that we set off to see Dragster.
My cousin had never ridden Dragster before, and he really wanted to ride it before we left. I told him that we should go later on when its around dinner time for maybe shorter lines.
Then we walked over to Magnum, and waited about 20 minutes. It was super hot in the queues and smelled a lot like B.O. ;) Had a ride in the very back seat and got some good air time.
After that we headed over to Mantis to get a ride of that in. The sign said 45 minutes, but it was more like an hour and 15. We got up to where you get on the floating queues when the train suddenly stopped on the very beginning of the break run into the station. Two ride ops ran out there and we saw the same Supervisor that we saw from when MF broke down. We waited about 20 more minutes and left the queue.
This time we headed back toward Mean Streak and waited about 10 minutes for it. I had never seen the queue (let alone the station) so full. Anytime I have ridden it it's been a walk on. Got somewhere in the middle, and had an ok ride. Wasn't too bumpy really.
After that we headed over to Raptor for another try at riding it. The sign said only 45 minutes. We got in this time. Had a ride in the back seat 4 (best seat in the whole train) and had an excellent ride.
And finally, we went over to Dragster and got in line. The sign said only an hour wait and the line was just a little but past the vending machines. I convinced my cousin to ride in the front seat, so it would be his first time on Dragster, and my first time in the front seat!
I had not seen one roll back all day, and it was running pretty good. Occasionally there were a few crawlers on the top, but it seemed to run at good intervals. Waited about an extra 30 minutes just for the front in Train 2 loading. Finally, we got in the black train. I couldn't wait. Saw the train infront of us launch, and we were up next. After that ride, I do not want to sit in any other seat again! Its just so much better infront cause there is nothing infront of you and you can see every thing. And I thought we were gonna get a roll back, but we just crawled at the top and I got a great view. Of course the hands were up from launch to breaks ;) It was simply the best ride on Dragster that I had ever had.
But after that, my cousin wanted to leave. It was around 7 and I was pissed. I thought we were staying till 11 when it closed. So I bought myself a CP sweatshirt, and we set off home.
Final Ride Count:
Millennium Force: 1
maXair: 1
Wicked Twister: 1
Magnum: 1
Mean Streak: 1
Raptor: 1
Dragster: 1
Power Tower (Space Shot): 1
Yeah, I know. I have a boring ride count. Next time I am taking someone one who wants to stay the whole actual day. And I'm going on a less crowded day too :P
Edit: Forgot about my Power Tower ride. I cant remember when exactly I rode it, but I do know it was a walk on for the Space Shot side.

Congrats on being on the 1000th ride with Tony. The guy seated next to Tony was Tony Clark, the blog and PR guy. I was seated right behind him.
Sounds like you had an overall pretty good day, however.
I thought it looked like you (saw pictures from your site). I didn't wanna look like a retard and ask if you were bholcomb from Point Buzz.
