This trip possibly could be one of the best.
My mom, her two sisters, and three of my cousins (ages: 13, 8, & 7)
stayed at breakers in a snoopy room. The room was fairly nice. There wasn't really a view of the beach or park but it didn't really matter.
I can't recall what our first ride was but I believe it was Gemini. The lines weren't too bad but we didn't ride any of the big rides because my mom and aunt surprised my cousin Samantha 13) and I with fast lane plus for the next day. The first day we spent time looking in shops especially in frontier town. I had a lot more fun than I thought I would. You really enjoy the atmosphere when you aren't marathoning from ride to ride. We got hennas tattoos of our zodiacs and leather bracelets with 'Cedar Point' on them. We also went to the little farm and petted the animals and took pictures. My family has an obsession with the fresh cut fries so we definitely got those more than once during trip haha. We went to Luminosity. It was nice but my favorite part was the DJ at the end. After the park closed my cousins and I went swimming in the pool. It was cold but it was refreshing.
The next morning we ate at Perkins.
My cousin Sam and I stayed back at the hotel with our younger cousins while the adults used early entry to ride GateKeeper since Sam and I had FL+ and could ride it later.
I already rode GateKeeper when I went with my school and I liked how unique it was to the park. My only complaint would be the vests. I'm 5'2 and a half and it really hurt my collarbones. Other than that I think its a great addition.
Sam and I rode GateKeeper first using our FL+
Its overpriced but I think its worth it if you want to ride a lot and not be rushed
(This is really weird but we noticed that our wristbands smelled like potato chips and only the FL+ ones. I know that is strange but I thought I should point that out haha)
We waited for the front on the left side. I loved it and the first drop was a rush.
Next Sam and I rode maXair, it was my first time on it and I was a little nervous because I have always been afraid of that type of flat ride. We sat in seats 12-13. maXair wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I actually liked it.
I think everyone rode Troika next. I like that ride and always will.
I forgot the order of rides that we went on but we rode
Magnum front row which was fun and I never did that before.
I also rode Gemini with my cousin Faye who is seven and obsessed with if numerous times lol.
She also made me ride the Monster with her which I don't mind that ride.
Sam and I rode Top Thrill Dragster. I always get so nervous before I ride it. We almost did the front but we didn't ;)
Dragster kept breaking down throughout the day for mechanical difficulties.
Everyone rode the Himalaya and then Sam & I rode Power Tower: blue side. I was terrified. We both were and she will ride anything. That is the scariest ride in the park by far.
It drizzled a little bit but it cleared up.
We played the guessing game and they always guess two months within my birthday haha
I promised Farrah, 8 I would ride Windseeker with her. So we rode that too. She doesn't like the 'drop feeling' and won't ride Blue Streak or Gemini. I thought she wouldn't like WS because its so high up but surprisingly she did. I had to hold her hand the whole time though but she did ride it again at night.
We tested our luck on the GateKeeper plinko game and I actually won! I gave them to my mom and aunt since I already rode it front row.
My Aunt Lisa, Samantha, and I had my Aunt Lena ride Millennium Force. I felt bad because she was so scared going up the hill but Sam and I couldn't stop laughing the whole ride. Her facial expression was priceless!
Sam, my aunt Lisa, and I also rode Raptor. These really nice girls gave us these tickets to ride again because they had extra. It said "Sorry for interrupting your day here is a free ride on Raptor" or something along the lines of that. They said someone else gave them to them so I don't know what happened. We got the front row and even though some bugs got us it was still a fun ride.
We left the park at around 4:30 to eat at Tomo. To avoid the dinner rush we ate earlier. The food was pretty good. I had the scallop and steak dinner combination and California rolls. I love Japanese steakhouses.
My mom has an obsession with Maverick so we headed straight to that area. My aunt Lisa, mom, Sam, and I rode it twice. Sam and I waited for the front the second time and we learned a hard lesson about riding in the front at night on Maverick :) Lets just say some bugs did not have a happy ending. We covered our faces but It still got in our hair and on our arms lol. Our last ride of the day was Wicked Twister.
I can't remember what other rides we rode that day. I think we rode maXair and GateKeeper a second time around, Wave Swinger, and Gemini several times again.
We also went swimming again.
The next day, Sam and I were determined to ride TTD front row but it was closed. So we went for Millennium Force instead. We rode the back row on MF and it feels so much faster and the airtime is 10x better.
TTD finally opened back up. We waited for the front. I was nervous but more excited than nervous. The line wasn't bad at all considering it had rained.
After about an hour and a half we were in our seats. I wasn't really nervous anymore. It was such a rush. The view was incredible and I would definitely wait for it again. I kept my hands down for the launch but put them up once we reached the top hill. We bought our photo in a snow globe. Riding TTD front row was my highlight of the trip. I'm not sure but I think it is tied for first place with MF
After eating lunch at Perkins, it started raining hard. We waited for it to clear up and then went back into the park.
First, everyone rode Matterhorn and then Sam and I rode red side of the Power Tower. I also rode Ocean Motion with Farrah and Faye and then played some games.
We used our plinko coupons and went to the souvenir shops. I purchased a tie dye CP shirt, 2013 shirt, a red CP drawstring bag, and a ride warrior bracelet
I rode Gemini again with Faye. The lines were short. It started in the station.
We went down to Frontier Town because Farrah and Faye wanted to ride CCMR before we left.
After that my mom, Farrah, and Faye rode Thunder Canyon and yes I did wear a poncho.
I know I know. But, we were leaving in an hour and I didn't want to be soaked haha
:)
I took Faye on Snake River Falls and it was fun.
We had ice cream and funnel cake at Toot Sweets. It was delicious but the cashier was kind of rude...she was sarcastic and treated me like I was nine. Other than that it was good. We picked up some fudge for my grandma, took pictures on the beach, and headed back to Michigan.
This trip was amazing and I'm so grateful I got to go. I miss it so much. Cedar Point is my favorite place and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
note: *sorry if there are any grammar errors I am writing this at 1 am haha*
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair
P.s. sorry that this is so long. I write a lot
and I forgot to add I was contemplating if I should ride Ripcord or Skyscraper. I really want to but I can't find the courage to. Maybe next year
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair
Ripcord and Skyscraper are both well worth it. Skyscraper is more of a rush in my opinion, but they're both a lot of fun.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Well written Taylor. Good job! Glad you and your family had a good time at the Point, it sounds like the perfect 3 days.

That was very kind of you. I'm sure your mom and aunt appreciated it.
