I was looking at the staging area pics on point pixels and I've seen more of the track that's supposed to be for lims i guess.

So I'm starting to believe its going to be a launch coaster.
I also don't know what this is for.

Well that's just excellent. :)
*edit*
But actually, I believe that the first picture you linked is 2-rail track with sensor rails in the middle. These are common station or brake run pieces. *** Edited 8/5/2006 3:10:52 AM UTC by Grovite18***
No, he's right. That looks just like track that would hold LIMs in the middle.
Chris, that "yellow" thing you linked to is the bumper that goes on the end of the transfer tracks. :)
The yellow thing almost appears to be one of the bumpers (like at the ends of WT's track), but from it position on the track, that can't be what it is.

Bodes, it's at the end of a beam. It's not attached to any track.
I assure you, it is a bumper and it will be used on the storage/transfer area.
Do we already know whats under the tarp? If so, I must have missed it.
Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point
^Haha. "Coming to Cedar Point in 2007. Crate: The Ride."
It's not the bumper that confuses me, it's the shrink-wrapped thing in front of it. I just cannot tell WHAT it is. By the way, Doug, it looks like you caught a lot of "What in the..." items.

Could this be transfer.....or for switch track??

Look at the smaller beam for what I mean

Looking at the furthest right piece, whatever it might be...looks similar to a magnet of some kind.
It looks as if it might fit into the holes of this \/

I don't know if this is the case, but those tiny holes in that "swiss cheese" track are confounding...Does anyone else have ideas for the tiny holes in the center?

Actually, TTD 120mph, I think you may be right about the I-beams. And, I think you just answered my question. The things I asked about look much like the "traversers" or whatever that the transfer track rides on in the KK picture. I can't tell if the track with the baord propped against it in this picture is the end of a track or just a transition to two-rail track.
Baseball Coaster Freak, which picture are you referring to about the "magnet"? Can you post the link, please?

That's what those things are indeed, the "tranversers" for the switch track (just because I think that's what it is).
And I think that track you mentioned is a transition since there is no flange at the end of the bottom rail.
Wonder if it transitions into this piece?:):

Looks like it´s for wheel drives. Example (with motors and wheels attached): http://rcdb.com/ig977.htm?picture=5
