August 3: Raptor Day!!

OK OK I know that all of you are wondering what Raptor Day is. But it was a day me and my friends made up a long time ago in 1994 when we rode Raptor for the first time. We then decided to go to Cedar Point and ride Raptor all day long and see how many rides we could get in. Then we decided to do it every year. To go to Cedar Point on August 3rd and ride it over and over. And here is the TR.

We got to the park at about 9:30 after eating breakfast at the Berardi's Restauraunt. I am related to the Berardi's of the famous fry stands So I go there for breakfast every trip to CP. When we got there th first thing we did was get in line for Raptor. Almost every wait was around 30-40 min. Kinda busy for a weekday We rode it 7 times before having lunch at Coasters. Then we went on the Dodgems, the Anitique Cars (I can't remember the names of the ones in front of the park), and Cedar Downs to digest. Then we got on it 7 more times before dinner at 6:00. Then we took a walk around the park and got some pics of all the rides. We then came back and rode it about 4 more times before the Summer Spectacular. After the Summer Spectacular we went home. Another great CP. We rode Raptor 18 times totalling my count to 63, waited in line for about 9 hours, and flipped upside-down 108 times!!!

Hey OnRidePicfreak, congrats on your accomplishment, anyway I was talking to a friend and he told me that there is an employee who works at one of the restaurants and he goes inside the park at 8am every morning and gets in line to be the first one in line for the Force. DO you know this person.

I was there on the 3rd with Brandon and I got my 54th ride in. It was the first time I rode since July 4th!

Hey Dan, the employee you mentioned works at Bay Harbor Inn so he is off each morning. I was third in line a few weeks ago and met this guy. I think he plans on riding once everyday.

don't blame him...if i worked at Bay Harbor, i'd do that too!!

I was also there on the 3rd. I was surprised to see they let riders on the MF as early as they did. We were able to ride MF by 9:45 AM.
