Well, on Wednesday night at around 8 pm, my friend is like, "Hey, want to go to Cedar Point tomorrow?". So naturally, I couldnt turn down that offer.
Now, time for the TR to start.
So, we get to the park at around 9:40, and get in line for the "walking" of the bulls. After they let us through the gate we took my normal route to TTD. The line looked super long, so we walked over to Magnum. It wasnt open yet, so we stood in line for a couple minutes. We watched Magnum start testing, and the train stopped on top of the lift. We decided to go back to TTD.
First Ride: Top Thrill Dragster-3rd row-30 min wait. There is nothing like an 120mph launch to wake you up. Great ride as usual.
So we get off TTD, and go back to Magnum. The line was in the station, so we got in line.
Second Ride: Magnum-2nd row-Walk-On. The trims were on really bad. Overall decent ride though.
When we got back to the station, the line was still walk on length, so we got off and got back in line.
Third Ride:Magnum-Back row-Walk-On. The 1st drop is crazy in the back row. You are just pulled over by the rest of the train. The trims were still on very heavy. The back row was deffinately better than the 2nd row.
We got off, and I wanted to walk on again, but the kid I was with was complaining. We then decided to walk back to Maverick. The line was out of the permanent queue. THe sign said 1 1/2 hrs, so we got in line. When we were still outside the queue, I was talking to the ride op that was next to the test seat. I asked if the mist was on, and he said no. He said that it causes too many problems, and may never come back. In line they were selling these frozen smoothie things, and the raspberry one was great.
Fourth Ride: Maverick-back row-1 1/2 hour wait. I can not say enough about this ride. The drop is insane in the back row. The airtime is great, the launch is fun, the stengel dives are cool. Deffinately my #1 coaster now.
We got off, walked over to SkyHawk, and got in line. THe kid I was with chickened out, and it was about time to check in. We walked towards the front, and hitched a ride on Sky Ride. We checked in, and then ate lunch. Then, we walked towards Mantis.
Fifth Ride: Mantis-somewhere in the middle-30min wait. I forgot that this ride was actually fun. The loop had some hangtime at the top, and the rest of the ride was fairly smooth. My legs were tired afterwards though.
So we get off and walk over to MF. The sign said 1hr, but it looked like longer than that. The line was just past the DJ booth. Nevertheless, we got in line. The lined turned out to be exactly an hour long.
Sixth Ride: Millennium Force-back row-1hr wait. It was great in the back row. However, Maverick is better.
After MF, we wanted to relax a bit (and check on Dragster's line) so we got on Iron Dragon.
Seventh Ride: Iron Dragon-idk what row-walk-on. Ya, this used to be one of my favorites, but now it is boring. I did get a nice look at Dragster's line though.
Then we went to Power Tower, and seen that the red side was a walk on, so we got in line.
Seventh Ride: Power Tower(red)-Walk-on. Not as intense as I remembered it. I hadn't ridden it since 3 years ago, before I felt real launches.
Then, we hit up Dragster again.
Eight Ride: TTD-back row-45min wait. I am offically done putting my hands up on TTD. My hands kept hitting the seat, and it started hurting my arms. Still fun though.
Then it was time to check in at the picnic area again. We checked in, and had some snacks. Then, we went and rode Raptor.
Ninth Ride: Raptor-2nd row-30min wait. Deffinately better than last time I rode it. It was a lot smoother through the wing overs. The helix is probably my favorite part Raptor now.
Then, we went to WT. The line was maybe 5 min. I think we only waited 3 trains.
Tenth Ride: Wicked Twister-2nd from last row-5min wait. Fun as usual. Looking striaght down from almost 200 ft is cool.
After WT, we decided to ride Blue Streak, since there was no line.
Eleventh Ride: Blue Streak-2nd row-walk-on. It was ok. I expected more airtime, since I had a good 2 inches between my legs and the lap bar.
Then, we said we were going to marathon Magnum the rest of the night. But, when we got there the line was a good 20 minutes. We still got in one more ride though.
12th Ride-Magnum-Front Row-20 min wait. The best ride on Magnum of the day. Sitting in the front row was great. The trims were lighter than earlier, so we got mad airtime on the airtime hills.
The kid I was with was bugging me to go on Mean Streak, so we went back there. We walked by Maverick, which had an hour and 15min wait. Then we walked to Mean Streak. We would have had a walk on, but they decided to remove a train when we were 2 trains from getting on. It was cool to watch them transfer off a train.
13th Ride-Mean Streak-Walk-On. The trims on the drop kill it. The first half is just blah. THe 2nd half isnt much better.
We then went to SkyHawk. THe deal was that if I rode Mean Streak, then we were going to ride SkyHawk.
14th Ride-SkyHawk-seat 17- 15min wait. You gotta love it. The airtime is crazy.
Then, It was about time to leave. We decided to walk to the front. We stopped at a couple of stores on the way out. I bought a Maverick hoodie and I got my sister a CP Magnet with Snoopy on it. Then we left.
NOTES:
Raptor closed for about and hour
Demon Drop was closed off and on
Maverick's mist is gone
Gemini only raced for 10min
Overall great day!

So, your title says "August 2," but your post implies that you went on Wednesday.
I'm going to assume that you went on Thursday the 2nd, because I was there on Wednesday the 1st and didn't encounter lines that short.
I can handle heat or I can handle crowds. The two together make me cranky.
Whichever day it was, it sounds like a good time!
Yes, it was on Thursday. I messed up in the 1st sentance. I will fix it.
I have no idea why Gemini only sometimes races.
About your Mantis hang-time on the loop, yesterday was the first time this season that I had seen the trims on the drop turned on, the first 9 times they were off and the train went through the loop faster. Does anyone know why they turned the trims back on? And in any case, why for any of the other rides?
seems like whoever is doing the timing of the lines is right on the money this year!!
this bodes well for our trip in September...
