August 27-29, 2012 First Time at CP

Hey Guys,

I noticed I never put up my trip report for my first time at Cedar Point. I went with my dad the last week of August and just wanted to add my two cents.

We did our 8-hour drive to CP Monday morning, arriving on a rainy day. The park wasn't crowded because of the rain as well as school starting in the area (thanks to some research online ;)) so we were able to get on a lot. I have all the rides we got on written down so that if someone is thinking of going the last week of August, and isn't a local, it might help them.

Monday:

I was greatly happy that we didn't have too-ridiculous of lines to wait in since I've read some of the stories on pointbuzz but overall the park was great! I'm coming back this year, the same time as before haha, and going to Kings Dominion and Kings Island.

Sounds like a great trip. As for someone that lives as far away as you, I would recommend getting a fast pass and you could cut one whole day off of your trip You could use that to save money or spend another day on the lake jet skiing Or fishing.
