August 26th - 29th

Planning a 3 day visit to Cedar Point on August 26th - 29th. However, I have a few questions before we finalize everything. Is Hotel Breakers a good deal? (Seems like the best one out of all the properties there) How crowded is it at the end of August? It'll be a nice road trip with 3 of my friends so we'll be splitting the cost of the hotel and gas 4 ways...Really excited to visit the Point! Never been there.

I don't consider it a good deal, but that's because I consider all on point properties pretty overpriced IMO.

However, with that said, I have always found that things slow way down by the end of August. Crowds should still be around that weekend, but not like if you went a Saturday in July

On the other hand, with Michigan's recent law prohibiting schools from starting before Labor Day, that last week in August isn't the ghost town it used to be.

May of this year wasn't the ghost town it was last year. All of my trips have been on busy days. Lot's of schools in May and June. But I guess whatever is good for the park. ::mumbles and walks away::
