Around 10 Dan (aka Danny J), Maria and I arrived at the Point after our trip down the Chaussee (a first for me). About an hour past our planned time due to my bad sense of direction. We hooked up with Sparty and Jeff Tobe for some breakfast at Fridays. Great food there with the breakfast buffet.
We got some good riding in on Magnum, PE and Gemini before heading over to Mean Streak where we noticed Red track accompanying the white track. We stood there in awe while poor Maria wondered what is wrong with us :).
We then headed for some water excitement on TC, only to find that the waterfalls where MIA that day. Maria and Sparty took a ride without a chance in hell to get more then a splash or two.
We then walked around taking pics and enjoying the beautiful day. It was fairly crowded with the Force at about 1.5 -2 hours for the majority of the day. So we ventured over to the Twister. Then Sparty had to depart us for a concert so we all went back to the lot. Hope you had a blast Sparty!
We went back to the park and kept on our riding adventure. One more lap around the park and we ran into James and grabbed a quicky on Mine Ride. Off to Magnum for the meeting of just GTTP Members.
Jeff, Hooper, Joe, and some other GTTP members. We went over to the Twister only to find the line too much then we would want to wait. So we rode Raptor with a minimal wait. The group then went to the Force only to find that line also too long for our tastes so we pressed on to Mean Streak. Followed by a POWERFUL ride on Twister. Where I learned a thing or two about the workings of the ride from the webmaster man himself.
It was an amazing day! I thank Dan and Maria for having me as their guest and for hauling me back. They are such great people! It was great to meet Sparty, James, Tobe, Jay - Pizzie, Joe, Hooper and everyone eles again!
I hope we can all do it again soon!
