August 17, and 18 trip report
I went with my Aunt and Cousins to Cedarpoint these two days it was great, my Aunts first time since 1990 or around there all she said was Magnum was new. First thing was with our hour early because we stayed at Castawaybay, I took her to Millennium force, and she loved it and said now she knows why it a top coaster.Then on to Maverick which at 9:30 was a hour wait, and it was a perfect ride.Next we hit the back of the park and moved up to Power tower. Everyone rode almost everything, except my Aunt didn't ride Wickedtwister or Dragster,and the only ride anyone hated was Mantis. The longest line on Sunday was Maverick at one hour. Monday the lines went up about 15 minutes a ride so we just hit are favorites.The interesting thing was Monday the 18th the park was to close at 8:00 pm but all day ride ops would announce it's open to 10:00pm. The best thing was the ride ops were so funny I loved all of them mainly Corkscrew, and Maverick,best thing said was on Maverick the guy from Poland would end everything with" did you like the ride, good ,now get off". A perfect weekend and I go back Sunday for my ride night.

It is nice to have the ETA but it not not decrease the maverick line much. Maybe if more rides were open. It does make shyhawk and Iron Dragon walk on's however.
Too bad your aunt missed WT which is my favorite ride in the park. I was there monday as well and am going to have go say you got lucky in all 15 minute lines.

Raptor - 45 minutes
MF - 1 hour
TTD - 45 minutes
Power Tower (Red) - 10 mins and this is always a walk on
Mantis - 30 minutes
Mean Streak - 20 minutes
Wicked Twister - 20 mintutes
At night things seemed to lighten up but I did not even try Maverick which was always over an hour.
I will be back next Mon and Tues. Would be nice if they keep it open late but I don't think they will.
I'm going out to get some air.
