August 15th and 16th picture report

We arrived at Soak City on August 15th around 10:30. Soak City was fun. Everything was great except the 45 minute wait for Zoom Flume.
It took forever to get our cottage. We ended up getting our cottage around 4:30.
At around 5:15, we went out to dinner at Breakwater Cafe. The food and service was great.
We ended up in the park around 6:30. We waited 115 minutes for Millennium Force. It was a good ride as always.
We then walked around and enjoyed the atmosphere. At around 8:00 we took a ride on the Turbo Shot Power Tower. Excellent ride.
After Power Tower, we headed to Magnum. We got up to the station in about 15 minutes. Then it began to sprinkle. They shut the ride down for about 20 minutes and tested 7 times. It stopped sprinkling and they were about to load the trains with passengers but then it started sprinkling again. So we got out of line and left the park because other rides were shut down.
We went swimming in the lighthouse point pool. The pool was cold and the hot tub was not even hot.
After getting a goodnight sleep, we headed to the park around 9:30 with our ERT passes.
We headed straight to Maverick and waited an hour and fifteen minutes. It was the worst ride on Maverick I ever had. I banged my head about 13 times. OUCH!
After Maverick, we took a spin on Mean Streak. It was rough but it was still a great ride.
Then we took a quick ride on Mine Ride. It's a pretty calm but good coaster.
We rode Sky Hawk after Mine Ride. Sky Hawk was fun.

After Sky Hawk, we rode Gemini and Magnum. They both were fun but seemed pretty rough.
After Magnum, we waited about an hour for Top Thrill Dragster. What an amazing ride :]
We took another ride on the Turbo Shot side of Power Tower.

We went out to dinner at Famous Dave's. The food was good but took a while for them to serve us.
When we got back from Famous Dave's, We rode Millennium Force again. We only waited about 35 minutes. It was fun as always.

After our good ride on Millennium Force, we headed over to Iron dragon and stuff over there. Then we went off and enjoyed the atmosphere and took on some other rides.
We hit Top Thrill Dragster and Power Tower as our last rides of the night. Wow, what a wonderful trip.

Glad you had a good time!

I'd have to say I wish they had the hot tub, hot. It wasn't that hot on opening weekend either. Are you the young guy with the brown hair?

randi <><
Peace Love Hope

Yes, I am the young man with the Brown hair. And I was pretty upset with the hot tub not being hot.
