Also, one other thing. The wording is a little ambiguous. But I assume that my group of 3 can get 4 tickets altogether, or just one funday admission (the other two of us would have to buy one). But maybe I am wrong, and we could each get one funday pass, which is what I am hoping. And with all the talk about how generous CP is being, I hope that it's the case.
But I guess it's just 4 altogether, or just the one funday ticket. Which could be a problem for me if I return, since the three of us CP freaks are a little limited budgetwise. Oh well.
I will have to contact CP and figure out how I can get in without this letter...
BTW, I am not complaining, I am just trying to clear things up before I make plans.

Just another example of the "I want mine!" attitude that is slowly destroying this country. "Oh my! we've been ripped off by big-ol mean Cedar Point!" "I bet they are behind this black-out just to get our money!"Sometimes I really think I am losing faith in humanity.

I SO agree with you. People are quick to point fingers and slow to use their brains. You see this mentality everywhere money is spent, not just at amusement parks. Americans are very thrifty and they want every halfpenny's-worth that they spend. They also want everyone to accomodate to them and their special needs or situation and/or importance (imagined or not). Usually these folks are also exceptionally nasty, and might as well hand you a numbered list of what compensation(s) they require so that they will be satisfied and "not sue you." Where is this selfish, rude attitude coming from? No wonder other countries look down on us.

I was wondering if it rains all day does CP give refunds for that?
The normal policy is "no rainchecks, no refunds." It's printed on park literature and signage. You can even find it on the back of presold tickets like what you might buy at Meijer or AAA. Obviously for extreme situations like the power outage special accomodations were made just for that event. There is lots to do at the park even during the rain/thunderstorms, etc. It may not be what you want to do based on your personal interests (see live shows vs. ride TTD) but these things are available and included in your admission. The best thing to do is check the weather before you come...*hint*hint* I'm always amazed at people who tell me they didn't think to do that before coming down for the day, and they're angry because it's been pouring at the Point since 5 am.
