What many of us past or present employees forget is that we are still representatives of Cedar Point and Cedar Fair. What we say on here is still a reflection of the park and how they are ran.
In defense of myself the "my job is going to suck tone" has changed in the recent months. I can almost assure you that this is all based on your first impression of me. I will admit when I started posting on here I did have that attitude. My attitude has changed and for the first season I am actually excited to be going back.
But this is a message board. Sarcasm and emotion cannot be shown or expressed through a monitor. Those of you that know me know that I speak my mind and am more then willing to except the consequences for what I say hence the whole issue with security.
Yes I believe this is thoroughly thought out. If you read my first post about the tunnels I agreed with both parties. No matter how much planning and thought is put into a final decision there will always be times it just wasn’t enough. Look how big the PT Midway is. There are still times its neck-to-neck traffic and THAT is what i based my post on. I too have seen how much room is up there where the tunnels are and i was only expressing my opinion from an employees point of view, and i know im not the only one who feels that way.
As Jeff has done i am more then willing to apologize to any of you i have offended through posts on this site. I have no problem stepping away and only being a spectator.

If the topic stays on the subject of amusement parks and rides there is no reason why anyone should get offended. This site along with what it promotes is ""ENTERTAINMENT"". I put that in capital letters because that is what it is. I to was a theme park employee 12 years ago and I never thought in my wildest dreams that it would become a serious or offensive issue. Wagonboy , take it from someone who has been there, just enjoy your summer work and be happy. Unless you plan on making a career move out of this. (Full time management, corporate, etc.), I wouldnt worry about it. P.S. Pardon me if I am being blunt about this subject but I work for a medical manufacturing company so to me this is supposed to be (Amusement parks) a fun and exciting place to work with no worries.
Maybe i should have added on the beggining of this post like i did at the end of my previous post. This all stems from a conversation that was going on between Jeff and myself from a previous thread. This wasnt meant to start a new one i just thought it was more appropriate to put it in an Employee Lounge then a more public one like the MF board.
Chitown - if your interested in why this is all being brought up please reference "tunnels" on the MF board.
I already saw the post before I responded to this. All I am saying is to relax and enjoy the entertainment.
