Asking for Time off ?

Is there any way to ask for time off during the summer? I might need to be going home for a couple days and I want to know if its possible? How difficult is it to ask for days off ?

It's normally not a problem. The sooner you ask for it off, the better. If you know the dates you need off now, I would email your manager, that way you get it contracted off. Or just email them and say you need a few days contracted off in July, or whenever. That way it's noted and you'll for sure get it off.
