I've noticed that a lot of people on here work on rides but does anyone have any experience as a Reservations Clerk? I'd just like to know a little about what the job is like... i.e. is it boring? (lol)
I am also curious this is what I got hired for.
Im not sure if I am in Breakers or Sandcastle Suites though?

Reservation Clerk at Breakers
I'm not positive, but I believe the reservations people work out Hotel Breakers. I assume it would mostly be answering phones and putting reservations into the computer system.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
The good (or bad) news is that you will be working inside all day/evening long in the air conditioning. If you enjoy talking on the phone then this is a good job for you. You will quickly find out that you have to become an expert at everything Cedar Point because you get asked about far more than just a room.
If you HAVE to be outdoors then this isn't the job for you.
If yoiu show interest and there is a need you might have the opportunity to work at the front desk at the Breakers. But, you deal with more problems at the desk (didn't get the room I wanted, housekeeping problems, etc) than you do on the phones.
Your shift should be fairly consistent which means you can enjoy the "social" side of working at the Point. There used to be an early, mid and late shift. Don't know what that is like these days.

Yeah my bad I was confused it is actually the Hotel Breakers not the Sandcastle Suites.
I am anxious to find out what shift I will be working.
