Are some people annoyed by the "obsession?"

BIGDAWG, you have your interests and we have ours. If you think that Cedar Point isn't a worthwhile interest then why are you a member of this site?

I love Cedar Point, my obsession started about a year ago. I have only one friend who shares the same obsession, I've annoyed the hell out of the rest of my friends so I'm no longer allowed to talk about it near them.

And what's wrong with Star Trek, Dungeons and Dragons, Star Wars and the Matrix? Oh, that's right, you don't like it so it must be stupid.

Well here's a news flash Mr. "I like the Sucky Cleveland Browns" - Nerds run the world. We own you. Everywhere you turn you are going to run into nerds, whether it be when you come to this site, or you're serving me my lunch at McDonalds. You might want to get used to it.

Goodbye MrScott

John

People who have a really big obsession with Cedar Point are not stupid and it doesn't make them look stupid PAL! I have a really big obsession with CP. I get a lot of crap from people and I just take it because everyone has an obsession and my obsession is CP. Most of us who have posted good things about CP have an obsession with Cedar Point so deal with it.

Yeah new year, and finally got my license, well back in august. Im in need of a trip to the park.

Boy, I really must look stupid to BIGDCLEVELAND! I have been a serious Star Trek fan since the Kirk years. I taped every Next Generation episode as it aired for the first time. I've played D & D, enjoyed Star Wars (The Empire Strikes Back is my favorite) and enjoyed both Matrix movies. I own all of ST on video or DVD, all of SW on DVD.

Oh, and I LOVE Cedar Point. In BIGDCLEVELAND'S eyes I must be a waste of skin.

Jugga's right. Nerds have in the past (and will in the future) own the world. BIGDCLEVELAND, just go watch 18 grown men hit a ball with a stick and run around in circles for 3 hours. Sounds like it's about your speed, dude. I'm not even gonna bring up football...

But it doesnt matter because a roller coaster won't dump you!

I dunno about that. Seems like last year Millennium Force implemented a "no fat chicks" policy. ;)

Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one within 30 miles that loves Cedar Point to the point (ha, ha...) that I want my ashes scattered over the peninsula...

I co-own the site and I get annoyed with the obsession.

well get over it, you own a fansite......

Top Thrill Dragster....Always number one

Everyone does have their points about what their obsession is... dont come on a roller coaster board telling fans that they're odd or strange for being into it so much. Im not one to come on and bash people or flame, but riding coasters is just like someone thats into cars, its just what makes them enjoy life more, doing the most of something they like. And as for getting over owning a fan site, I run one too, you can get easily annoyed but deep down we enjoy it.. so anyways, lets get back to talking about coasters!

Actually Cedar Dan, I live in Windsor and I too love CP, I guess we are the only 2 people within 30 miles who love it, and my friend Danielle, so there's three of us.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Lol you people don't understand. People have hobies like sports and other things but you guys just sit here and talk about cedar point all day likes it's your religion. There is a difference between being obsessed and liking something. I like cedar point but I hardly ever think about it. Lots of people here spend like every second of there day thinking about cedar point and believe it or not thats not normal. Mr.Scot you are going to criticize me for liking sports lol thats pretty funny. I'm sorry that your whole life is about cedar point and computer games.

Computer games? Where did THAT come from. I don't play any computer games on a regular basis. I'm much too busy for that.

Go away, you are annoying.

<notes times BIGDAWGCLEVELAND posted> Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?

-back in the world free of asses, I say any obsession is a bit unhealthy no matter if it's working out, drinking, or Cedar Point. It's okay to have a hobby and to be enthused by things just as long as you don't take it overboard and get all stupid with it.

This ain't no book you you can close, when the big light hits your eyes. Cropduster-Riot Act-Pearl Jam

I think, wait, i should say I know, LittleDawgWiener is just trying to get a rise out of everyone. First off, everyone has obsessions, some of mine are: My wife (love you!), Harley Davidsons, Cedar Point, Jet Skis, X-Box, Hockey, Football and on and on. I also have a job: aiding in the design and building of cars. My wife also has a job: saving peoples lives (she is a nurse).

I suppose my point is Big Loser Cleveland, i hope you never ride in a vehicle i helped with because I am so stupid you would most likely have an accident. My wife, the nurse now comes to help save your life, but wait, she is also obsessed with everything i am(including Cedar Point) which means she is to stupid to save your life, and you are now dead to us and the world.

GOD REST YOUR SOUL
