The Cleveland Indians charge $4 for the same size Pepsi and water bottles that CP sells. Both places charge too much. In general the Indians Prices are somewhat higher than Cedar Point. That's why we usually eat elsewhere before going to the game.
The real joke at the Indians ballpark is that they charge $3.00 for an ice water. Yes, the same filtered water from the soda fountain that CP gives away. Talk about an insult, that one takes the cake.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.
^ - interesting. I know that in Michigan there is a state law prohibiting places from charging for tap water.

Well, when your whole damn state is surrounded by the stuff . . .
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
I also appreciate that all customers (but the VIP, but they are rare) are equal at Cedar Point. There's no VIP parking, no FlashPass system...
I agree with you 100%.
Also, as much as I hate Six Flags, they had some really amazing burgers at SFOT. They had a family come in with this HUGE propane pan-shaped grill trailer looking thing and make fresh burgers. I swear the line was like 200 people long. They looked like the park had paid them to come in and make fresh food. These were so much better than CP's food but they also weren't all corporatish either (there was like a 12 year old working there lol). Anyways, yeah, CP's food does suck for the price. :(

If you want to feel less dirty after buying a meal at Cedar Point go to Panda Express in mid afternoon. Spend $13 and get generous amounts of a side dish and two entrees as well as a drink. It will keep you full most of the day and it's really good food.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Lets think about this for a second. Cedar Point spends $25,000,000 on rides so people can come and have a good time. Think about it, they charge $45 for a ticket for you to not only ride one 25 million dollar ride but three and other rides that cost up there as well!
If anyone out there actually pays full price for admission they're a sucker. I've said that before and I'll say it again. Coupons for discounts are everywhere out there. Hell you can go on their website and they will mail them to you at no charge! Some prices at CP are high, but there are things guests can easily do to save their money.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Last time I was there we ate at Coaster-In Dinner, two burgers, two fries, one medium drink and a milk shake. It came out to be 30 dollars, and the burgers were not anything special. Later that day we got two five dollar foot longs, along with chip's one half really fill's you up. This weekend I think were going to stick with Subways five dollar foot longs.
Quote from a Corkscrew ride op, "And Dragster is down again"
We usually eat at Johnny Rockets, but the food quality is just mediocre. They have a JR around here as well, and their burgers still are nothing special. CP needs to bring in a catering company with a giant grill and make some fresh food in front of everybody. I'd probably actually pay for something like that.

They do that in July with Johnsonville.

^^ Aren't Subway's five dollar footlongs 8 or 9 dollars at CP? I was under the impression everything was more expensive in the park.
Promoter of fog.
Yeah, CP's Subway is laughably expensive. You should be allowed to legally punch people who buy food there.
Brandon
^ - no, you should be able to legally punch the fat redneck who took his shirt off in the middle of the midway.
I prefer to just laugh at the people who eat at Subway in the park. They've already been donkeypunched by the park.

I've never had Subway at CP due to the price. I have checked out the prices though, and my favorite is $1.50 for a slice of cheese. I think the cookies are triple the price of a normal Subway. All the prices are crazy.
Johnny Rockets is crazy too. A burger fries and drink there would set you back about $15. They want $5 for a milkshake, almost $4 for a pop. We go there maybe once a year.
Chick-fil-A is bad too. They charge almost $5 for a shake. The chicken sandwich at CP is double the normal price. We try to steer clear of that too.
Of course the prices at the CP run stands are way high and the food is not as good as the chains named above.
There are a few reasonably priced and good items at CP. The tacos are pretty good and not too expensive, same for Macho Nachos at Los Gatos. Next door at the Fire House No. 3 they have a frozen custard and fruit ice "parfait" that is good. I don't remember what it's called. The hand cut fries are good too.
If I do eat in the park, I usually just have chicken strips and a cup of water. The free cups of water are nice. I typically drink / poor all over me at least 20 cups per visit.

Take your parking receipt to Famous Dave's. You get the $10 you paid for parking knocked off of your bill and the food is actually quite good. You just need your bill for food and soft drinks to total $20 or more to get that taken off.
I went to the movies last night, and they had a 44oz Pepsi with free refills for a lower price than Cedar Point charges for a 32oz Pepsi with no refills.

Disney has cheaper (and much better) food than cp.
I got a burger, fries and drink at disney for under $10.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
