ARCADE MECHANICS

2003 will be my first year working at CP. I was hired as an Arcade Mechanic. I am having an extremely hard time finding someone who has been an Arcade Mechanic at CP before to talk to about the job. I would very much like to know what the job entails, the perks, the drawbacks, what the uniform looks like, and whatnot. I can be found online on AIM under the screen name Emu Coupons. If you have been an Arcade Mechanic before, are going to be an Arcade Mechanic in 2003, or know anything about the job, please feel free to add me to your buddy list and drop me a line any time you see me.

One of my really good friends was a games mechanic from 99 till 01. He really enjoyed it. He told me alot of what he did. some of the things you will do will be to fix lockers, fix skee ball (he always seemed to be doing that) and fix other games that are owned by cedar point. most of the mechanics that he knew ended up on locker detail most of the time, im really not sure about how they determine that but im sure it relys on your experience. what ever job you have just remember to enjoy the little things about your job, and remember that it is just that, a job.

I think the uniforms are dark blue pants with a light blue button down shirt. Correct me if i'm wrong but I think thats it.

And I also know that the arcade shop is in the back of the Collisium (sp) under the Live E office, if that helps you any:)

The only time employee's are allowed to play non-video games (i.e. Skeeball or any game where tickets or a prize can be won) is on special Employee games nights.

Making the department look bad? I think you took care of that when you capitalized every word. Plus, I highly doubt that how someome POSTS on a WEBSITE affects the integrity of a department. Sheesh.
