Application question

So I just filled out my application today, and afterwards I realized that I put my available start date as 4/11/08 instead of 5/11/08. I tried to go back and change it but it says my application is being reviewed. Is there anyway I can fix this, or should I just wait until I get a call from them?? Thanks!

I did the same thing and put 5/16 instead of 6/16. When they call to interview you tell them about your misstake. I noticed mine when i got my contract in the mail. I also was told that the jobnet is not working right. My date is still wrong on that. I got an updated contract yesterday with my right starting date.

On you contract there should be a phone number or an e-mail address for the person that you are working under.

well i was actually interviewed in person. the day after i applied. CP recuiters came to my school. They interviewed me on the spot and then 2 weeks later I got my contract. about 1 and a half week after i got a hold of CP about my contract date being wrong i got my new contract...in all it probably will take3-4 weeks for the whole process.

It shouldnt take them to long. Kinda depends on what department, but it shouldnt be long at all. You shouldn't have trouble with getting the date fixed though.

Yeah, it depends on what department really. But, they are good about getting to you as quickly as possible. It shouldnt take longer than a week.

What if I want to move up my process in date (from June 5th to May 30th) should I call HR at the 800-668-JOBS number or should I contact my recruiter directly?

Well, you can do either...but, I would much rather just call HR...
