Hola! Yes, I have yet another question... I was wondering what appliances we were allowed to bring (i.e. microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee pot, etc.), and which ones are recommended for me to bring. We have yet to decide weather we will be living on or off point... Thanks!!!

Well, you wanna know what the rules are, or what you can get away with? The Rules say microwaves, toasters, hot pots, coffee makers etc, are not permitted in the sleeping quarters. (in the kitchens you can have whatever) One refridgerator, 3 cubic feet or less is permited. There is a microwave in the main building at commons, and I think there are some available at the dorms, also.
If you live in the apartments, there is a stove. Note that it only has a stove-top and no oven! One of my roommates and I went shopping and bought some frozen pizzas, and then realized we had no where to cook them! :)

Alrightie... now that I know the rules, what can I get away with??? (although, I don't think I would need much more than access to a microwave and toaster) Oh, and are they strict about a fridge being 3 cubic feet??? I am not sure how big ours is.
Your stove had no oven? Hmmm... Was that in Commons? The stoves in Bayside have ovens and so did the one in Commons ( several years ago).. but you must have just gotten lucky ( or unlucky). As for hot pots, coffee makers, toaster ovens, etc.. the reason for not wanting these in the older buildings ( Cedars and GOld Dorms) is the fire hazard they pose in such surroundings... Microwaves were not allowed at the time I lived in the While Dorms ( no longer there) but not sure if they allow them now. The dorms all have microwaves in the lobby areas,,, The refridgerators in the Apartments are Full size.. If you want to do a lot of cooking you may want to live in an apartment. Wow.. I still can't believe your stove didn't have an oven... I think I would have gone nuts without being able to make my specialty.. Frozen Dinners :)
We had a microwave though, so no oven was really needed. (except for those pizzas...which don't quite microwave that well) ;)
Yep, this was in Commons.

Commons apartments only had cooktops. The cooktop had a very nice delay for a pack of firecrackers.
