Hi I put an app in for either Merc or Games control about 10 days ago. I have a friend who has accepted a job and will be leaving around May 10th. I check my app and it said it was being reviewed for first job choice and now second, but there was never a name under reviewed by. I am worried the positions are filled and I will be passed over. Has anybody gotten a position in these areas the last 2 weeks?
Also my friend accepted a job and plans to move in on the 10th but has not had her background check. I guess I am wondering if anyone has had issues with not being able to process in because of their background check? And has anyone went through the whole process quickly like app , interview, background check and move in within 2 weeks?
I could make other arrangements but it would save money to be able to go together. Thanks in advance :)
For your friend I would suggest having her call HR to see if it's done and just hasn't been posted yet
A quick update. I talked to a manager in Games and he informed me the reason my app was passed to the next job choice without a manager viewing it was because they were no longer doing interviews for games and merchandise. He said by the time i did my app they are usually full, but plan on receiving cancellations within the next few weeks. He also mentioned that your app will stay on a job choice for a certain amount of days and then automatically go to the next without anyone looking at it. Hope this helps
