Apartments

Someone asked me how full all the housing gets throughout the season? Due to the increase hiring, do any of you see any problems with getting into an apartment if you arrive a couple days before opening day?
I know that in my apartment, basically throughout the whole summer, there was at least one opening...or was my apartment just abnormal? ;)

When I lived in Bayside in '98 we had a two bedroom apt and there was only three of us there pretty much all summer (two of us for awhile) It was really nice I had my own room for the majority of the season. I don't know how common that is, and especially with the new hotel and all I am sure they are going to be hiring more people this year. I think we are just going to have to wait and see whether or not anyone has room to breathe in the dorms this year!
Last season we had a housing freeze because housing was full and they were only hiring locals.

Z34 im not lying am i? I think i heard that *** This post was edited by Wagonboy on 1/16/00. ***
Yeah you're right...but I dont think you will have to worry about that right off the bat at the beginning of the season. That is probably going to come down the road once all the foreigners start to process in.
Christy, I think our apartment was just abnormal! How many people went through room A during the season?? No, actually, other people had the same thing going on in their apartments last season. As for me, I'm moving to Bayside (finally!)
