Anyone worked as a game host?

Hi, yesterday I had an interview with a HR of CP and I got a job as a game host. This will be my first time working there. They offered me to choose between ride host and game host, and I chose game host because I thought that I will have tips there. But now in my job description it says that there aren`t tips. Is that true?
I have other questions too. Is there a chance for promotion or salary increase?
How many working hours I will have?
Is there a chance for changing positions?
And the last question, if I stay at work as a game host, with salary of $7.4/hour, approximately how much money can I make for 3 months?
Anyone who knows more about this and who can help me is welcomed to respond to me :)
Thank you in advance :)

Well, I'm in merchandise, and games is part of that department. No there are no tips, and if a guest offers one, you have to very nicely decline any tips, because except for servers in restaurants, other employees may not accept tips. You can be terminated if you do. If you do your job well, they're always looking for people for leadership positions. I can't predict how many hours you'll get, but games remain open till most guests leave the park, at least games in the front of the park do. Just a ballpark figure on hours, you could get 48-60 hours a week, depending on how busy the park is. Games are fun, I think you'll have a good time.

First, thank you for the reply. I must tell you your reply raises more questions :)
If I am a good and hardworking employee, how much time approximately will take to get a promotion? And how much increase in salary will I have?
And the HR lady said that often there will be extra hours that employees can work if they decide they want to work. My question is, what positions mostly need extra hours? For example, if I sign in for extra hours, is there a chance that I will work on different position? For example, ride host, food host, server, etc?
I am sorry for all the questions, but I am a foreign student who will work at CP during the summer, and I really need to know will I return all the money that I`ve invested in Work&Travel. I spent approximately 1800 euros :(

1800 Euro is approximately $2500 USD. Whether you will make that much this summer to cover your "Work & Travel" expenses completely depends on the length of your contract and that amount of hours you work. (You should have no trouble making $2500 if you're planning on staying the entire summer)

When I worked at the park in 2002, my paychecks averaged $600, but they are bi-weekly checks.

That's pretty close to what I made per check last year too. $600-$700 I think.

2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper

And what if I take extra hours every day? How much than will I earn? The thing is, I want to cover all the costs and to have enough money to buy clothes and to travel in New York, Miami, Los Angeles...or some of them. I will work exactly 3 months and than I have 18 days to travel around America.
So, I want to have 2000 euros to bring them home and to return them to my parents, which are the investors :) and to have enough money for the things I mentioned above. I don`t care if I come home with less than a dollar for myself.
And does anyone has answers for the other questions that I asked in the previous post?
Thank you :)
