ANYONE SICK OF THIS YET

I won't get a chance to get to CP until the end of July, because of work and other things. When I am there I hope to ride Dragster, will I be upset if it is down? NO! I went a couple of times last year, and both times Wicked Twister was down. There are 60+ other rides and such to do at CP. The way I look at it is, the rides aren't going anywhere, it isn't the end of the world, if something is down.
Round and round and round..............
I'm sick of whiny people who can take the time to write yet another b*tchy post about Dragster but can't take the time to spell-check their posts :oP

I went to CP last week for 2 days while TTD was down. My friend and I drove 7 hours from the DC area. Was I disappointed? Sure. Did it make the trip not worth it? Of course not. I had a great time riding the other coasters they have there (MF was even better than I imagined it would be and currently holds the title of my favorite coaster).

I was there when they first started doing TTD test runs with dummies and asked if I could pretend to be a dummy and ride it (i am about 73% water after all) but I don't think my case was too strong and that was laughingly rejected by a ride tech. Heh.

One thing I am a bit confused about is why teejmeister was saying Volcano at PKD (which I live about an hour from and visit quite often) is unreliable. In the past few years I have been to PKD many times and have never once seen it down or have any problems whatsoever. Perhaps I have simply been lucky.

On a side note I do have to give kudos to CP for their staffing which is about 20 times better than PKD or SFA. They seem to genuinely care about whether or not their patrons are enjoying themselves and are (for the most part) very pleasant. At PDK and SFA half of the time the ride ops look like they just wish you would go home and die.

I agree with the staffing thing you said. I was sitting down with my family at the Coaster's Cafe and 2 people came up to us and asked if we were ok and if we needed anything to just tell them and that they were sorry TTD was down. Really good on their part.

I have been reading all of your posts and messages about TTD since January. All the hype, the "can't waits" and "this is gonna be an awesome rides" that I saw everyone post was quite nice to see.

The part I do not get now is just because there is problems with the ride some of you decide that all the anticipation should turn into disappointment. I was at CP on May 9th and 10th, rode it after several minor break downs. I was there again June 17-19 and rode it one more time (got lucky).

Sure it's a bummer when it is down. Better to have it all now and get all the bugs fixed than what they did in May with short shut downs (1-2 hours) and not letting the folks in line "officially" know about it (other than the obvious trains not being run).

Be patient. If you are going only for TTD go in August when all this will most likely be worked out.

Just my thought. Nice website.

For all of you that are sick of TTD being down....

Why did you EVER come to Cedar Point in the past?

CP is more frustrated about TTD being down than we will ever be..
