ANYONE SICK OF THIS YET

i have been reading post for months, and i have been goin to cedar point since i was 3 years old. Now that i am 25 and in military i can only go so often, But what I am wondering yes they have 15 other coasters but does it piss anybody off that they dont have it running all the time, land if they do it is like a few hours a day, to me if they need to test it and break it in they need to do it when the park is closed so the people who came to ride it arent bumed cuz it is down

i am not disappointed seeing that i have rode it seven times, but all you hear about is that it is down. to me cedar fair shopuld be able to get prblems fixed with quickness not beating around the bush with this new creation

They are the best park for this ride. They are doing all that is possible to make sure it runs. i really don't think CP is beating around the bush with this ride.

if your in the military and can only go a few times, then explain how you have ridden it 7 times in the 2 months it has been open... those two posts completely contradicted one another... i forsee that this thread will not last long

I'm sick of people whining and complaining about it not being up, its been going on so long.. One person says "Im mad because it isnt running." Then another person says "Get used to it, its a new ride." It IS a new ride with NEW technology. Its going to be down, but will only get better. Lets just all wait and see, then see if you want to complain somemore.

they really dont contradict each other at all being that my base is only afew hours away. so how does that contradict the other part of my statement??

Well I can't complain, there was somebody there working on it all day while I was there, so they are basically working around the clock. So they are doing what they can do, but I can't be pissed off, I paid to enter the park and enjoy the rides, not Top Thrill Dragster, they have many other rides for that.

Anyone sick of listening to the people who live less than 30 mins from the park complain about those who have a reason to complain?!? If you live right there and you have a pass you really can't talk about dissapointment. It is like going to the movies and it being sold out, or all the copies of a movie allready being rented. It is not the same thing.

Anyone sick of people defending Cedar Point like its God?

I know I am, raptor.

I was just there today and went on it. Waited over 3 hours, rode, then 30mins after riding it broke and was down the rest of the day.

I am in a spot right now where yes, I am upset that the ride is not running consitantly, but I am not in a spot to hjump all over CP, considering everything they have given us. Give them a break.

I'am as well Raptor. I will say this though, the whole discussion is getting tiresome. Those that havent been on Dragster and dont live near the park are disappointed. Those that live near, have ridden it, or will get numerous oppurtunities to try can't fathom that someone would be disappointed with CP. Neither is going to convince the other. So we keep going round and round.

I think the only thing we can all agree on is that we all wish Dragster was more reliable and right now it definately is not.

So we should probebly just move on and accept that Dragster is going to be a sporadic ride probebly for most of this year. For me that is disappointing. To those that think CP does no wrong, its wonderful??

Sure I would be disappointed if TTD was down. But I just don't go to the park for one particular ride. I go for fun the whole day. Now isn't it the norm for most new rides to be down a lot in the first season? Just wondering.

I'm sick of people moaning about Dragster being down. Yes it is unfortunate, but just put yourself in CP's shoes for two seconds instead of just being concerned with yourself. No matter how frustrated you are, Cedar Point's frustration over this is much worse.

Psst... Brother Jay, I live in Western PA, am I dissapointed that TTD is down? Yes. Am I going to sit here and whine about it? No, it's not in my hands.

I went to Cedar Point 2 weeks ago for 2 days, nice 3 1/2 hour drive it took. Was TTD open? Nope, did I have a wonderful time at Cedar Point, I sure did. ONE coaster not running will not ruin my experience at a park that is simply the best.
