Your mobile broadband will be just fine. I used it at commons, bayside, and onpoint. You actually get better service onpoint, but regardless there is service.

What service provider are you going through? Verizon? AT&T? Also, how much does it cost per month?

2010: Millennium Force & Mantis
2011: Raptor
2012: Raptor, Sky Ride and Wicked Twister
2013: Co-Team Leader of Sky Ride
2014: Supervisor of Slingshot/Skyscraper

AT&T 3G Sucks unless you are on point, even then it is a hit or miss. I would recommend Verizon Prepaid or Virgin Mobile (Sprint), both had great coverage. Virgin Mobile may be a little as Verizon went from 3G to 1X occasionally.

Virgin Mobile (Sprint): $10 for 100MB (10 days) and $50 for 2.5GB (30 days)
I used Virgin last year and they had a $30 package for 1GB but I'm not sure if they have it anymore.

Verizon:
$15-100MB (1 day)<expiration
$30-300MB (7 days)
$50-1GB (30 days)
$80-5GB (30 days)

The above are prepaid plans. Contract prices will vary.

AT&T Contract
$35-200MB
$60-5GB
Again you go in and out of 3G and Edge which is annoying.

I would just use the wifi provided or go up on point (the starbucks up there has free wifi). Other places too (Mcdonalds, ect.) have free wifi around CP as well...If you don't wanna use the local WAP hotspots, then just get a phone that can tether, if the WAP hotspots aren't as good as they could be I'm just ganna tether my Evo with pdanet, or use the hotspot on it (btw, root your phone android kids, don't pay for the hotspot haha)

Unless Cedar Point has upgraded the wireless network for employees, which I doubt it has. I would recommend you using your phone for tethering or buying a mobile broadband card.

I supervise the Starbucks location with Wifi and if I see an employee in street clothes using our wifi often I'm gonna start making you buy stuff from me.

Currently I am paying 67.00 a month for the 5gb data. 2 year contract. However there is a 29.99 a month for 250mb (I would check with prepaid through virgin mobile. I knew several people last season that had it at 39.99 for unlimited a month, no contract.)

Just watch your data usage on those 250 MB plans. Those overage charges are a nightmare.

Here's a good provider to check out

They use the Verizon Network (although contractually cannot say that they do) and have month to month plans for 20GB.
