Anyone here ever worked at SFWoA?

Has anyone here ever been a ride host/op at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure? What was it like versus working at Cedar Point?

Today on Demon Drop I had a guest ask "How can you run this ride without a Dispatch Enable button?" and he said he was a Supervisor at SFWoA. I told him that here at Cedar Point, we know what we're doing and don't need Dispatch Enable buttons. (Yes, I'm aware that most of the coasters we have have DE buttons, but just ask anyone who worked Corkscrew in 2002 and they'll tell you that they don't need the DE button they installed for this season).

I worked at that park many moons ago. If I compared the two operations back then I would say that Cedar Point has a much more business-like approach to the operation of its rides.

How they compare now I couldn't tell you.

Wouldn't having a DE button there lengthen dispatch time? You would have to enable each one, and walk back to do that. Leaving restraints up isn't an issue, and false dispatching there isn't really an issue if you pay attention. I never worked at SFWoA, but I know Cedar Point's standards are very high.

I was on the whip at another park yesterday where I saw a child stand up, the ridehost was talking to another and didn't notice. This park also didn't have phones or PA systems at most of their rides... After working at CP I have notice alot more when I go to another park.
