Anyone from Oklahoma?

Hello. This will be my first summer at CP. I have never been to Ohio, and considering that I am an Oklahoma football nut, I may have to tone down whatever cockiness I might have in that realm. My normal job is in insurance, but I hope my summer at CP will be the sabbatical of sabbaticals. I'm a big roller coaster fan. I also enjoy jamming on the piano and caving. I am looking forward to meeting a wide range of folks, so e-mail back with any advice you can give or if you just want to talk college football trash. See you at the point.

Where are you going to be working? I would love to see an OHIO STATE vs. OKLAHOMA match up but I guess I'll live with OSU vs. TEXAS, which happens to be our first game this upcoming season. If you have any questions try and search these boards a little bit. You can ask me whatever questions you may have too and I will try my best to answer them for you. Do you have an AIM name?

Thanks for the reply. The Buckeyes should be very tough, and Texas should fear a couple of The OSU's skill position players. UT's matchup with OSU will serve only to bolster the Big 12s power rating, as I expect OSU to win that one in the Shoe. Embarassingly, I do not know what an AIM name is.

I will be working at the Hotel Breakers reservations dept. I should probably live on-point, but I am torn between the choices.

I want to say that some of the Hotel employees have the option of living in the hotel, but I don't know much about that. If by on-point you are talking about Cedars Dorm, then I would say no way! Try to get into either Commons Dorm/Apartments or Bayside. I've lived in Cedars ... for about 4 days. I couldn't stand living there, plus Commons is much more of a social atmosphere.

Well, thanks for the advice. I'm leaning t/w the commons. Hopefully, it's available. If you know anyone who hates the Sooners, tell 'em the new guy at Hotel Breakers reservation is ready for some trash talk........half kidding.
