I don't know. I've only heard about it through here. I've never actually seen a Paramount season pass.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
All of the previous Paramount parks used picture free passes.

Just asking because my PKI pass from 2005 had a picture on it. It is the only time I have ever owned a Paramount season pass though.
Interesting.
I believe 2006 was the first year they didn't use pictures on the passes, but again, I could be wrong.
I can say for absolute sure that Kings Dominion did not have pictures on their passes for the 2006 season.

2006 was indeed the first year Paramount went with picture-less IDs. And even some '06 passes have pictures (such as mine). If you purchased/renewed your passes in fall '05 and had them printed while you were there, they were still putting photos on them.

2008 - Wicked Twister
2009 - (Walt Disney World) Space Mountain/Tomorrowland Speedway
This is the first season that the former Paramount parks will have picture-less passes... at least for PKD, it is. To quote the lady at the PKD season pass center, "This is a new process for all of us."
So, due to the picture-less passes, there will be at least one terminal at the non Paramount parks that will have the ability to scan the season pass to make sure it's me holding the pass.
I'm sure it's going to be a confusing bunch of opening days for us :) *** Edited 2/6/2007 1:43:54 PM UTC by Jess***

Ya, if you would have read kirk06's post prior to yours you'd have seen that the '06 season indeed did have some passes without pictures.
When she said that last year she was talking about integrating into the CF management and how they were going to scan their passes at prior CF parks, not about the passes themselves.
Why am I talking to you about this on a message board when I live with you?
Hello? Reality, are you there?

This year will be the first year I get a pass. I'm just going to go to the park one day in April and buy it rather than getting a mail in voucher. The new ERT sounds good to me and might entice me to get the Joe Cool. My only problem is that I'll probably be the only one who gets a pass, so there wouldn't be a point for me to go in early, and my friends have to wait at the gate until 10. I'll have to do some thinking about this.
Quick question, I'm thinking that I'll be there again on Monday May 21. I'm going with a large bus group, as I have the past 3 years. We should get to the park around 9. As usual, the bus will drop us off at the main gate. Is there a way to get to the Magnum entrance from the front? Would we be able to catch a shuttle bus?
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Should be able to, I think the shuttle bus stop is over by Pet Check, so just head over there and catch a bus around to the Magnum gate. I think there is a call box, so you'll have to call for them to send the bus around.
Goodbye MrScott

Vince, get JC, it's worth it! It's more useful than it may seem. But that option is up to you on account of your friends.
Hope to still see ya in April at the Season Pass center.

For anyone waiting on their renewal season pass, CP hasn't started processing them yet, because they upgrading Season Pass printing and scanning equipment.
If you haven't read the Parking pass thread, they have decided to place the parking on the pass rather than a parking decal.
When they begin processing IDs, they will include a letter explaining the new parking pass process. You can then mail back the ID and your certificate, and have the parking pass placed on your ID, or go to the park in April to get the parking put on your ID.
