Anybody ever hurt/killed on a CP Coaster?

Thank you RIDER....thats why I put that reply up, because Jeff said nobody has gotten hurt on a ride due to mechanical problems.

I thought I heard on here one time that in the 70's, some kid that was too short some how sliped by and got on CCMR. He fell out and broke his skull. I'm not sure if it's true, but that's what I heard.

A kid did fall out, and the parents sued the park and Arrow. Arrow settled, but apparently CP went to court. It came out that apparently the kid was pushed out by his father, who never said anything when the ride returned to the station. CP won.

When did this happen? Was this during the middle of the ride? If this is so his dad is a pile of (bleep)! :-( People who abuse their kids don't deserve to be alive! I could see it being an honest mistake if the train was pulling into the station just before it was about to stop but during the ride its obiviously foul play!
This is exactly why many Ride Ops have a hard time letting a child that is too short to go on certain rides. 9 out of 10 times, an incessant father/mother will try and force the child on the ride. It's kinda like being locked inside a car. If you want out bad enough, you will find a way out. I can even remember Peggy saying, that children, esp. smaller children, having the funniest ways about them on how they can get out of restraints. That's why we have the height requirements, so next time you give a Ride Op a hard time about your kid or whatever, think twice...PLEASE!
