Any truth to this statement?

I think who ever made that email got their wish. They wanted to rile up some people and they succeded (spelling)

...We hope you have a great day here at Cedar Point America's Rockin' Roller Coast
Just relax Tim. It's only my opinion. I enjoy the Wildcat, but even Valleyfair tore their version of it down. I don't want to get into a Wildcat argument.

One of CP's most popular coasters? Not sure about that.
Cedar Point has always had a set of carnival rides, and still does, including Himalaya, bumper cars (2), Calypso, Matterhorn, Scrambler, Chaos, Troika, Octopus, Witch's Wheel, Ocean Motion Sickness, etc etc. They used to have more, including my favorite, the Bayern Kurve.

I'm not sure the Wildcat is really one of the most popular roller coasters in the park - it just has one of the slowest lines.

CP fan since 68.
Beeman, the guys name that posted that is "Satan". Only the antichrist himself would spew such vile, as removing the legendary Blue Streak!

Blue Steak and Wild Cat are very important links to CP's great history. Ride diversity, and a sense of park history is what sets CP apart from other parks. I'm sure CP will preserve both of these true classics.

Puff'n the Winston..Drink'n a 4-O..Toofast, and I'm gona let ya know.
I can think of about 20 parks of the top of my head that have a campact portible coaster. Also Keep in mind that Jumbo Jet and Wildcat are still alive (though not running) and waiting for a buyer. Disaster Transport as a ride that is not a maintenance head ache like Jumbo Jet was. The Special FX on the other hand do cause the ride to shut down. Wildcat Does seem to have a lot of down time and very slow moveing lines. They are however only slow in comparison to other CP coasters.

I can't belive this. The moment I leave you guys start haveing "ride wars". :)
Wildcat, at 900 people/hour, [CP's lowest throughput] surpasses many Premier and Paramount coasters. (Boomerangs, Invertigos, I suspect Outer Limits)

Hometown parks: Kennywood, Cedar Point!
129 days until the real "Millennium
Ahhh Danimation.com, I won't go into my view of that site right now but I would like to clear something up for ItalicSquirrel, The Cyclone clone that Kumba is talking about would be the CP Cyclone not the CI cyclone that SF has cloned.
As my dearly departed grandmother always use to say........." Believe nothing you hear and only half of what your read or see!!"

Ride it hard, long, and furious!
Um....NOT GONNA HAPPEN GUYS!!!

Cedar Point will never get rid of a coaster within the near future. A Cedar Point official already stated this.

Why would Cedar Point get rid of a coaster? Not one reason.
